Before We Begin....
If starting therapy feels overwhelming, you might find my piece on Facing the Anxiety of Starting Therapy helpful. There are so many approaches, titles and styles out there that it’s hard to know what’s right for you. My aim is to make that feel simpler.
I’m a humanistic counsellor, and I work with adults who are struggling, stuck or carrying more than they can manage alone. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, grief, relationship difficulties, low confidence, shame or just a sense that something isn’t sitting right, therapy can give you the space to breathe and make sense of things.
The relationship between us is at the heart of the work.
I’m not an expert on your life — you are. My role is to offer steadiness, curiosity and honesty while we explore what you’re going through.
-
Some weeks you might want space to talk.
-
Some weeks you might want challenge.
-
Some weeks you might not want to go near something at all.
That’s okay. The pace is yours.
We can look at patterns, family dynamics, relationships, old stories, or whatever feels important. I often use metaphor and creative exploration to help untangle the things that feel hard to put into words.
What I bring is empathy, honesty and respect.
What you bring is yourself — and that’s enough.
If it helps, you can read a little more about who I am and what shaped me.
If it doesn’t feel important, feel free to skip it.

01
Getting in Touch
Reaching out is often the hardest part.
You can contact me by WhatsApp, or email whatever feels easiest. There’s no pressure or commitment at this stage, just a first step towards feeling more supported.
02
Free 15-Minute Chat
We start with a relaxed conversation to see whether working together feels right.
You can tell me a little about what’s going on, ask anything you want, and get a sense of how I work. It’s a gentle space to check the fit before making any decisions.

03
Your First Session
Your first full session is all about settling in and giving you room to talk, reflect and breathe.
There’s no expectation to “present” anything in a certain way. We work at your pace, explore what feels important, and begin to make sense of what’s going on underneath the surface.
04
Ongoing Work Together
Over time, our sessions build naturally.
Some weeks you might want space to talk things through. Other weeks you might want gentle challenge. Sometimes you may want to stay with something, or avoid it for a bit — and all of that is welcome.
We explore patterns, emotions, relationships and the stories you’ve carried.
The goal is simple: to help you feel more like yourself again and move through life with more clarity, confidence and steadiness.
